UK Shipping Air Pollution Higher Than Thought

It has been reported that air pollution from UK shipping is four times higher than previously thought. In particular, nitrogen dioxide emissions around major ports and sea routes in the UK are higher, according to a report for the Government. Levels of sulphur dioxide, another harmful pollutant, are thought to be three times higher.
