Shropshire Council has released Interim Guidance Note GN2 (Version 1, April 2018) which describes its preferred approach to the assessment of ammonia impacts from intensive agriculture on sites of ecological importance. The document explains how to assess the impacts of ammonia emissions and nitrogen deposition from livestock units on designated sites and Natural Assets: Internationally and nationally designated sites and Natural Assets such as Ancient Woodland and Local Wildlife Sites.
